Ann’s family had spent summers vacationing in nearby Destin for years. On Mike’s first visit to the Emerald Coast in 1983—and after his first visit to Seaside—he famously declared, “This place will never make it.”

At the time, Seaside was still in its infancy, and few could have imagined what it would become.

The Jobe family’s first Seaside vacation came in 1995. After years of returning each summer and renting homes, in 2007 Changes in Attitudes was purchased, just 150 steps from the beach.

Over the years, the cottage has become a gathering place for family and friends— a backdrop for holidays, celebrations, quiet mornings, sunset walks, and countless treasured memories.

It feels only fitting that Natalie chose Seaside as the setting for her wedding weekend, and Garrett gladly agreed because the Millers had vacationed there as well!

We feel incredibly blessed to have this special place, and one of its greatest gifts has been the opportunity to share it with the people we love.
